Zeta Tau Alpha

Founded on October 15, 1898, at Longwood University, Virginia, Zeta Tau Alpha was established to foster lifelong friendship, leadership, and service among women. The Eta Xi Chapter was founded at Virginia Tech in 1972 and is dedicated to empowering members through academic achievement, personal growth, and a supportive sisterhood. Guided by the values of love, service, leadership, knowledge, responsibility, and unity, Zeta Tau Alpha encourages women to strive for excellence while making a positive impact in their communities. The chapter proudly supports the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation's Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Program, partnering nationally with the American Cancer Society to raise awareness, promote early detection, and fund breast cancer education and research through philanthropy and community outreach.
