Founded in 2010 by sorority member Ginny Carroll, Circle of Sisterhood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing barriers to educationand advancing gender equality by expanding access to educational opportunities for women and girls around the world.

Through initiatives such as funding school supplies, supporting school construction projects, and investing in educational resources, Circle of Sisterhood works to empower women through education. Access to education can create pathways to economic independence, improve health outcomes, and help reduce vulnerability to issues such as human trafficking and gender-based violence.

The Virginia Tech Panhellenic Community is proud to support Circle of Sisterhood as its official philanthropy. Each year, Panhellenic hosts Philanthropy Week and other fundraising initiatives to raise awareness and provide financial support for the organization's mission, demonstrating our commitment to service and the values of Ut Prosim ("That I May Serve").
