Panhellenic Preview
Get an inside look at the 13 Panhellenic chapter houses located in Oak Lane, Virginia Tech's fraternity and sorority housing community. Each chapter house serves as a home for many members and is a hub for chapter life, hosting sisterhood events, leadership programs, member education, philanthropic initiatives, and more.
House tours are a great opportunity to explore each chapter's space, meet current members, and experience the unique personality and culture of every organization. Whether you're curious about chapter life or beginning your recruitment journey, visiting Oak Lane is a fun and informative way to learn more about the Panhellenic community.

Recruitment Fashion Show
Need inspiration for your recruitment outfits? The recruitment fashion show is a chance to see the variety of different outfits you can wear for each round of formal recruitment!

Ready to begin your recruitment journey? Online registration opens on August 24 and closes on December 10. Be sure to complete your registration before the deadline to secure your spot in the formal recruitment process this January.
Once you've registered, you'll receive important updates, event information, and next steps to help you prepare for recruitment. We encourage you to register early and reach out to the Panhellenic Recruitment Team if you have any questions along the way.
Formal Recruitment
The excitement begins! Formal recruitment kicks off with the Open House Round on January 10 and concludes with Bid Day on January 17, marking the start of an unforgettable experience.
Recruitment week is filled with opportunities to meet members from all 13 Panhellenic chapters, learn about each organization's values and traditions, and discover where you feel most at home. We recommend returning to Blacksburg a day or two before recruitment begins so you have plenty of time to get settled, prepare, and start the week feeling confident and excited.

Recruitment Guides
Rho Gammas, also known as Recruitment Guides, are experienced Panhellenic women who serve as mentors and resources throughout the formal recruitment process. During recruitment, Rho Gammas temporarily disaffiliate from their own sorority chapters, allowing them to provide unbiased guidance and support to potential new members.
From answering questions about recruitment to offering encouragement and helping you navigate each stage of the process, your Rho Gamma is there to ensure you feel informed, confident, and supported. Whether you're excited, nervous, or simply unsure of what to expect, your Rho Gamma is committed to helping you make the decision that is best for you. Their goal is to provide a welcoming and positive recruitment experience while helping you find a chapter where you can truly feel at home.
