Alpha Chi Omega
Founded on October 15, 1885, at DePauw University, Alpha Chi Omega was established to promote the intellectual, social, and moral growth of women. The Epsilon Tau Chapter was founded at Virginia Tech in 1984 and is dedicated to empowering members through a supportive sisterhood rooted in lifelong friendship and personal development. Guided by the values of friendship, leadership, learning, and service, Alpha Chi Omega encourages women to become confident leaders both on campus and beyond. The chapter is committed to raising awareness for domestic violence prevention, partnering with the New River Valley Women's Resource Center and supporting national efforts focused on Domestic Violence Awareness and Sexual Assault Awareness.
