Alpha Phi
Founded on October 10, 1872, at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi was established to foster sisterhood, academic excellence, and leadership among collegiate women. The Theta Iota Chapter was founded at Virginia Tech in 1973 and is dedicated to empowering women through meaningful friendships, personal growth, and lifelong membership. Guided by the values of sisterhood, leadership, service, innovation, generosity, and character, Alpha Phi encourages members to excel both on campus and beyond. The chapter proudly supports the Alpha Phi Foundation, with a national philanthropic focus on women's heart health, raising awareness and funds to advance research, education, and prevention initiatives.
