delta Gamma
Founded on December 25, 1873, at the Lewis School for Girls, Delta Gamma was established to foster friendship, encourage educational and cultural interests, and promote social responsibility among women. The Delta Rho Chapter was founded at Virginia Tech in 1973 and is dedicated to helping members grow through leadership, scholarship, service, and lifelong sisterhood. Guided by the values of hope, strength, and courage, Delta Gamma empowers women to make a positive impact on their communities while building meaningful lifelong connections. The chapter proudly supports Service for Sight, Delta Gamma's national philanthropy, by raising awareness and funds to improve the lives of individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
