Sigma Kappa
Founded on November 9, 1874, Sigma Kappa was established to provide women with opportunities for lifelong friendship, personal growth, leadership, and service. The Epsilon Chi was founded at Virginia Tech in 1972 and is committed to fostering a supportive sisterhood where members are empowered to excel academically, develop as leaders, and serve their communities. Guided by the values of personal growth, friendship, loyalty, and service, Sigma Kappa encourages women to lead with compassion and confidence. The chapter proudly supports the Sigma Kappa Foundation, with philanthropic initiatives benefiting the Alzheimer's Association, Maine Seacoast Mission, Inherit the Earth, and Gerontology, raising awareness and funds to make a meaningful impact both locally and nationally.
